OSSC CGL Prelims Exam Date announced, exam to be held in OMR mode; check details

OSSC CGL Prelims Exam Date: Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the schedule for the much-awaited Preliminary Examination for Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination, 2022 (CGLRE-2022).

There are a total of 1267 vacancies including 755 Group B and 512 Group C posts under the mega recruitment drive.

OSSC CGL Prelims Exam Date

OSSC in a notice issued on March 27 said that the preliminary examination will be conducted through Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) mode instead of Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode across the state on May 14, 2023 (Sunday).

“All concerned are informed that the Preliminary Examination for recruitment to various Group B and C State Cadre posts/services advertised under the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination 2022 (CGLRE-2022) will be held across the country on 14.05.2023 (Sunday) State through OMR mode instead of CBRE mode,” the notice read.

The government recruitment body said that it has amended Clause-4(i) of the advertisement to facilitate the offline conduct of the exam.

“All other terms and conditions of the advertisement remain unchanged. The candidates concerned are advised to be in constant touch with the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in to know any updates in this regard.”
