OSSSC PEO, JA admit card: The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) recently released the admit card for aspirants to appear in the Practical Skill Test in Basic Computer Skills under the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2023.
More than 20,000 candidates are expected to appear in the computer skill test for the posts of Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) and Junior Assistant (JA) scheduled to be held on November 5. While the computer test was earlier supposed to be conducted in all districts, the commission has now decided to hold the test centrally in Khordha and Cuttack districts.
However, a majority of the aspirants complained that they were unable to download their admit cards due to poor loading of the official website-www.osssc.gov.in. With a couple of days left for the exam, many candidates took to the X platform to express their apprehension and anguish.
“Respected Sir. + Our OSSSC JA & PEO Skill Test is on November 5th. But on clicking on the link given for Admit Card on the OSSSC website, it is getting redirected to home. For which we are not able to download the Admit Card. If we do not get the Admit Card before 5 days of the exam, then how will we prepare and reach the exam center on this date?,” complained an aspirant.
“Sir @MoSarkar5T When we clicked on download Admit card on osssc login portal it was logged out and went to the start page. We are unable to download the Admit card, so resolve as soon as possible our exam on 5th Nov,” wrote another aspirant.
A third aspirant wrote, “Respected sir please look into this issue and resolve it as soon as possible. We are unable to download the SKILL TEST ADMIT CARD OF OSSSC PEO AND JA EXAM, which is scheduled to be held on 5th November 2023, SUNDAY…Till now this problem exists… Please solve it”
The job aspirants alleged that whenever they tried to download their admit card from the official site after entering all the credentials, the page automatically logged out.
“sir kindly look into this.. sir I want to download the PEO SKILL TEST ADMIT CARD but your site has not properly working for one day.. I try to download the admit card and then automatically log out in your site so plz update it,” requested another aspirant.
Though OTV tried to contact OSSSC authorities over the phone, the calls made to the number given by the commission on its website for technical assistance went unanswered.
In a notice on its website, the commission urged candidates to apply to reschedule the computer test if they have any other exam on November 5.
“If any candidate has to appear in another examination (meant for other Government Jobs) scheduled on 05.11.2023 by other recruitment examination conducting bodies like OPSC, IBPS, etc., he/she may log in in the OSSSC website www.osssc.gov.in using his/her registered Login/User ID and password and submit his/her request by clicking on the link “Request for change of Date” under “Applicant Menu” between 01.11.2023 to 05.11.2023 for re-scheduling his/her Practical Skill Test to another date. He/she has to attach or enclose the examination admit card issued by the other recruitment examination conducting body in his/her application as proof. For such candidates, the re-scheduled computer test shall be held in Bhubaneswar only on or before 15.11.2023,” the commission wrote.
